The most important step on your strength training journey is the first one you take. That's why we've teamed up to bring women just getting started the absolute best programming to set them up for a lifetime of lifting heavy and living strong.

AVAILABLE PLANS

Start Strong 1.0 Novice Workout Plan

This novice plan is for women who are completely new to strength training or returning after a long break. Twelve weeks of structured, guided full body training with step-by-step audio cues and full-length follow-along videos. No prior experience needed.

  • 12 weeks | 4 programs, 3 weeks each

  • 5 days/week: 3 Full Body Strength + 2 Cardio & Mobility

  • Workout length: 35-50 min 

  • Equipment: Swiss ball, dumbbells or kettlebells, long and short resistance bands (TRX, foam roller and bench optional)

WHO IS START STRONG FOR?

This novice plan is for women who are completely new to strength training or returning after a long break. This plan has one clear purpose: give a true novice everything she needs to start lifting with confidence, proper form, and a structured plan.

Most strength programs assume you already know how to move. Start Strong does not. Every session comes with full-length follow-along workout videos and step-by-step audio cues, so you always know what you are doing, how to do it, and how it should feel. That is central to how this plan is designed to work.

Four 3-week programs take you through circuit training and supersets, progressively building foundational strength, muscular endurance, and movement quality across the 12 weeks. The loading and complexity build in a way a novice body can absorb and respond to. By week 12 you will have the movement literacy, strength base, and training confidence to step into more advanced programming.

Three full body strength days per week sit alongside two combined cardio and mobility days. Train at home with minimal equipment.

Every woman deserves the opportunity to learn how to lift safely and confidently, no matter her starting point. Start Strong is our most beginner-friendly program, tailored to women of all ages and fitness levels.

In addition to the guided workouts, you'll have access to a supportive community through a private Facebook group, along with regular Zoom sessions featuring Hailey and Dr. Vonda Wright. This comprehensive support system ensures you stay motivated and on track toward building strength and confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if the program is appropriate for my fitness level?

This is the most novice program that I offer and is appropriate for the true beginner that might not have been working out regularly for years or who has never really exercised regularly throughout their lifetime. It is appropriate for all ages (please get cleared from a physician before starting any exercise program). 

What if I can’t start the course on time? 

This course is a do-it-yourself program with ongoing support from myself and Dr. Wright. You can purchase and start anytime :)

How long do I have access to the program?

You will have access to the workouts for the lifetime of the app. 

Do I have to go to a gym to do the workouts?

No, all of the workouts are designed to be done in the comfort of your own home with minimal equipment. With that being said, if you want to go to a gym, it is completely fine to do so. 

 

What equipment do I need for the workouts?

The mandatory equipment required is a Swiss ball (medium or large), short and long resistance bands, and at least 2-3 different sets of dumbbells of differing weights. There are some optional equipment options that we recommend but they are not needed which include: a bench, foam roller, and a TRX. 

 

Where do I find the workouts?

All workouts are accessed on the Hailey Happens Fitness app. There are two options to complete the workouts:

  • A new follow along workout. Join Hailey in real time as she walks you through each program workout over the 12 week period. 

  • Choose the standard do-it-yourself workout where the app will guide you through each exercise where you record your sets and reps with an exercise video of Hailey teaching you how to do the exercise correctly

How long are the workouts?

The workouts are between 35-50 minutes.

 

How many days of the week is this program?

2-3 strength training days and 2 short cardio days that involve walking.

 

Do I get any FaceTime with Dr. Vonda Wright?

Vonda will be joining occasional zoom Q&A sessions. 

 

Is there an ongoing fee?

No, once you have purchased the program, it is yours to keep for the life of the HHF app.

 

Is there a facebook group?

Yes, there is a private facebook group specifically for Start Strong members. 

 

What if I have an injury?

We recommend that you get clearance from your physician for any exercise program. We do not offer specific modifications as it would result in multiple alternates for every exercise, but feel free to modify and ask for options if needed.
