COURSE OUTLINE

WEEK ONE

Introduction of the course - We will have an overview of generalized nutrition and what to expect over the next nine weeks as well as instruction on how to use My Fitness Pal, how to track measurements, progress pics, etc.

WEEK TWO

We dive right into the macronutrient modules that make up our food which are protein, fat, and carbs. How does each macronutrient assist in body composition goals and what ratios should we aim for when planning our meals. Further we will cover the pros and cons of popular diets such as intermittent fasting, keto, and time restricted eating.

WEEK THREE

We turn our attention to the importance of both Strength training and cardio for proper fat loss as well as how to properly do interval training, applying the right effort in the gym, and hydration needs for each.

WEEK FOUR

We introduce our Clinical Psychologists specializing in Behavior and habit change for long lasting lifestyle changes. We will also cover which supplements are worth investing in and if they have any immediate benefits with fat loss as well which ones are a waste of money.

WEEK FIVE

We cover the benefits of quality sleep in regards to body composition, overall health, and recovery. We will also educate you on  how to determine your own energy budget.

WEEK SIX

We are back with part two of our behavior and habit change module as well as discussing the topic of Menopause and how this affects our body composition, nutritional needs, strength goals, and more.

WEEK SEVEN

We introduce the massive topic of the negative effects of extreme dieting known as RED-S (often referred as low energy availability). Advanced calorie tracking options will also be covered.

WEEK EIGHT

Our final behavior and habit change module will be discussed as well as what  training nutrition looks like for different goals.

WEEK NINE

We finish off with a conversation around reverse dieting and what maintenance looks like after a fat loss phase.

I have muscles in my 40’s that I never had in my 30’s. My strength is more than just physical. My transformation started first, when I decided I wanted change for myself and I was willing to do the work. Second, I learned the valuable information provided in this program. I thought I'd take a minute to share my personal successes:

  • I followed the exercise program strictly for six weeks, despite life factors. I worked out when baby slept, at night, early am, even when my husband was away and then recovering from surgery. 

  • Learned about Macros. As a plant-based eater, this was a hard lesson, but I think I've found a really happy balance for my body and my lifestyle. As you know, the first two weeks, I tried to get there with my normal diet and wasn't even close. Then I incorporated fake meats, etc. And the pendulum swung from constipated to the opposite. By the end of the first week or two I was just eating meat to get to my goals and I felt TERRIBLE! Then, I reset my goals and thinking and eating based on the science I had learned within my own diet, and it yielded the results I was looking for. 

  • I gained visible muscle, I gained 4 lbs, I felt stronger, I lifted heavier. 

  • Learned about fueling for my workout (I was DEF doing this all wrong).

  • Learned better mechanics for intermittent fasting (I had been fasting in AM until 12 or 1pm, and working out in the morning. My body was starving!)

  • I adopted Hailey's mantra around tempting food of "it's not forever, it's just not now" (I have a sweet tooth so this helped. I also blew up my diet several nights in a row and then, reset.)

  • I built a home gym.

  • I went back into the gym for the first time in years with confidence and shook off the 'i don't belong here' feeling.

  • I dusted off my TRX and remembered how much I LOVE it and how intense it can be!

 

I plan to complete the program soon, because I'm most interested in the education modules. My experience was good, and while I may not be the textbook definition of success, I was happy with the results and felt quite successful, so thanks!

I have always been a physically active person. I run, hike, ski, bike, and in recent years have introduced about two days of weight training into my schedule. I have never been overweight or unhappy with my weight, but I have always thought it would be wonderful to feel/look lighter and leaner. This goal was basically unattainable, not because of lack of exercise, but because of my diet! I wasn’t the most terrible eater, but I certainly had a lot of room for improvement…

 

Along come Hailey and Tony…

 

They taught me how to count calories and how to put more protein in my diet to build more muscle. They gave me killer strength training programs and taught me good weight lifting technique. The calorie counting is the most challenging for me. It is not easy, and I am not perfect. A lot of days I just estimate my numbers. But having the science behind macronutrients and the awareness of energy in and energy out has made a difference! 

 

The last time I checked, I had lost 3 pounds. I notice it the most in my belly area. I have always had a little “pooch” of fat. I still don’t have a “six pack," but my “pooch” has really flattened out! The definition in my arms and back is noticeable and my face has thinned out. Hailey and Tony are helping me change my body composition. I love it. My boyfriend LOVES it. I feel like a million bucks!!! Healthier, lighter and leaner!!!

Finally a fitness and weight loss program that is catered to real women over 40. This program was made up of a dynamic dream team of caring experts. Hailey ensured that the workout and nutrition plan was backed by science and experience not social media influencers and the latest hype.

IS THIS ONE-ON-ONE COACHING?

This is not individual coaching. This is a group coaching program that allows weekly questions/trouble shooting with your coaches. We love this approach as it is more cost effective and allows you to begin this transformation with a support team of women who are all on the same journey.​

I AM LOOKING FOR A MEAL PLAN. DOES THIS PROGRAM PROVIDE ONE?

We do not provide a meal plan in this program, as this course is designed to empower you with the knowledge you need to plan your meals moving forward without relying on someone else to do it for you.

I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A GYM. IS THERE A PROGRAM OPTION FOR ME TO DO AT HOME?

Yes! Both of our beginner and intermediate programs offer at home strength training versions.

I AM LOOKING FOR AN ACCELERATED WEIGHT LOSS COURSE. IS THIS THE RIGHT COURSE FOR ME?

No, this is not a fast paced weight loss course. This course provides the tools to arm you with the correct and healthy way to lose weight sustainably over a lifetime.

 

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED FOR THIS COURSE? 

If you are working out from home, you will need the following: dumbbells (preferably a few different weights), long resistance band, short resistance (booty) band, swiss ball (optional), and a TRX (optional).
